Raising Capital
in Latin America

Capital exists in Latin America, but accessing it is another story
The bottlenecks to accessing that capital stemmed from three core barriers, which ironically enough had nothing to do with the companies themselves…
In Their Own Words:What Investors Told Founders
The country
Capital is concentrated in Brazil and Mexico. Chile, Argentina, and Colombia are classified as emerging; Peru, Ecuador, Paraguay, Bolivia, and Venezuela as early-stage.
The industry
Fintech led investment in 2025 by a wide margin. Health, education, and care sat far below it and account for 41% of the founders in this report.
The founder
Companies with at least one woman founder made up 14% of deals and 10% of funding value. Women-only teams: 9% of deals, 4% of the capital allocated.

Here are the numbers behind their journeys, the market they raise in, and how they keep building.
